On September 15, “INVERNEA PROTEINA PYME SERIES 3” Trust Fund issued certificates of participation for a nominal value of $AR 3,000,000,000 (Argentinean Pesos three hundred million) (the “Certificates of Participation”), due on September 15, 2028 (the “Trust”) under the Global Securities Program “INVERNEA PROTEINA” (the “Program”).
The Trust aims to boost production and development of regional economies and value chains in the Argentine agribusiness sector, enabling investments in livestock and farming SMEs by non-specialized investors, advancing the outreach of the capital markets to a regional level.
The use of proceeds focuses on beef for cow/calf, backgrounding, finishing, and sale and. purchasing agricultural commodities, having been approved as an SME Investment Fund, investments must target SME farmers and ranchers in order to maintain its SME status. Activities are concentrated in the provinces of Corrientes, Entre Ríos and Buenos Aires.
CFA Compañía Fiduciaria Americana S.A. participated in the transaction as trustee and issuer, Invernea S.R.L. in its capacity as technical operator, ARG Capital S.A. as arranger, PP Inversiones S.A. and Cono Sur Inversiones S.A. as placement agents and Balanz Capital Valores S.A.U. as co-placement agent.
