Cablevisión Argentina issues debt worth US$500 million

Argentine cable television provider Cablevisión has issued notes worth US$500 million, with help from Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP’s Buenos Aires and New York offices and Argentina’s Errecondo González y Funes.

Linklaters in New York and Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal in Buenos Aires advised the joint-lead managers and bookrunners, while Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP in New York and Tanoira Cassagne Abogados in Buenos Aires counselled the trustee and agents. The local placement agents, Banco Itaú Argentina and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Argentina), also turned to Marval.

The transaction closed on 20 June.
