Cabanellas Etchebarne Kelly has helped the central Argentine province of Neuquén issue notes worth US$66 million.

Tanoira Cassagne Abogados advised arrangers and placement agents Banco Provincia del Neuquén, Banco Macro, Macro Securities and Banco de Galicia y Buenos Aires, with Deutsche Bank as trustee. The transaction closed on 3 July.

Neuquén issued the 28.5 per cent two-year notes as part of its four-year US$120 million treasury notes issuance programme. The notes are secured by federal tax revenues.

Cabanellas Etchebarne and Tanoira Cassagne acted in the same roles in previous issuances by Neuquén worth US$45 million in May, US$68 million in March and US$48 million in May 2014.
